About Us : 소개

The Art Inner Expression Association was established on November 5, 2018, as a Not-for-profit Corporation in Canada. Even before it was established, it continued to do activities for art inner expression. Many Koreans living in Canada have language barriers. And there are no organizations that deal with the field of art inner expression. Therefore, there is a need for this. Then Currently, the Association is mainly engaged in adult, elderly, and dementia, and plans to develop activities for children, adolescents, and autism.

예술내적표현협회는 2018월 11월 5일에 캐나다 비영리단체로 설립이 되었습니다. 설립 되기 전부터 지금까지 예술내적표현 활동을 꾸준히 해오고 있습니다. 캐나다에 사는 많은 한인들이 언어의 장벽이 있고,  예술내적표현에 대한 분야를 취급하는 단체가 없기 때문에 이에 대한 필요성이 대두되고 있습니다. 그래서 현재는 본 협회는 주로 성인, 노인, 치매를 중심으로 활동을 하고 있으며, 어린이, 청소년, 자폐 등을 위한 활동을 전개할 계획을 갖고 있습니다.

Jung Hyun Sook the leader of the Association earned the Certified Christian Counselor in Canada, earned the Certificate of Art Therapy counselor in Korea, and received the Child and Youth Therapy counselor in Korea. She also completed the Certificate Counseling Program in Korea. Especially, she has been actively engaged in art inner expression through works using art and confetti.  She mainly visits several organizations and does these activities for people, and she also provides individual lessons if necessary. In other words, she teaches all people who want to learn, such as youth, adults, seniors, dementia, autism. She not only teaches but also opens exhibitions for them, giving them pride and heightening the interest of the community.

정현숙 대표는 한국에서 산업디자인을 전공하였고, 캐나다에서 Certified Christian Counsellor, 미술심리분석상담사 1급 자격증, 청소년 상담사 1급 자격을 보유하고 있습니다. 또한 집단상담과정을 수료하였습니다. 특히 미술과 색종이를 이용한 작업을 통하여 예술내적표현을 위한 활발한 활동을 전개하고 있습니다. 주로 여러 단체를 방문하여 사람들에게 이러한 활동을 하고 있으나 개별적인 학습도 제공하고 있으며, 청소년, 성인, 노인, 치매, 자폐 등 배우기를 원하는 모든 사람들에게 학습을 실시하고 있습니다.  또한 배우는 것에 그치는 것이 아니라 그들을 위한 전시회도 열어 그들에게 자긍심을 심어주고 커뮤니티의 관심을 고조시키고 있습니다.
